Detroit City Distillery is a small artisan distillery in the heart of Detroit’s Eastern Market. It’s located on a building that was once the site of a large brewery. This distillery creates a variety of spirits, including bourbons, ryes, and gin. They also produce experimental spirits.

Detroit City Distillery is open to the public for tastings and tours. Their products are made in small batches, and their team aims to use local ingredients.

DCD’s flagship product is their Railroad Gin. Their spirits are distilled in a copper vessel, and the process can take weeks to complete.

DCD recently launched Homegrown Rye. These spirits are made with local grains, and the distillery plans to begin distributing their product nationwide.
